ENROLLMENT OPENS 2/2

All camps will fill on a first come first served basis once enrollment opens. You will be required to pay a $50 non refundable deposit per camp in order to hold your place. Camp fees will be due in full 2 weeks prior to the start of camp. Detailed information for each camp will be sent out 2 weeks prior to the start date. We can’t wait to dance with you this summer!

CSD Company Summer Requirements: 2 weeks of Summer Intensive + Technique Week. (ballet/variations camp is highly recommended).

MINI CAMPS 

Ages 3-5 

Week 1: June 22 - 26 | 9:00am-12:00pm

Week 2: June 29- July 3 | 9:00-12:00pm

Week 3: July 6 - 10 | 9:00-12:00pm

Week 4: July 27- 31 | 9:00-12:00pm

Week 5: Aug 10-14 | 9:00-12:00pm

Our Mini Camps are for our youngest dancers ages 3-5! These camps will include various styles of dance including ballet, tap and acro along with crafts and a  snack break! We will offer an informal end of week showing the last 15 minutes of camp on the Friday of camp. This is a great way to get your dancer comfortable in the studio and start learning the basics and foundations for dance including rhythm, coordination and the structure of a dance class! These camps are drop off only so your dancer must be comfortable being without a parent for those 3 hours. All dancers must also be potty trained. *dress code and more info will be sent to enrolled dancers.

Acro CAMP

Beginner/Intermediate & Advanced

*These camps are divided more by experience/level than age.

Beginner/Intermediate

Week 1: June 29- July 3 | 9:00-12:00pm

Week 2: July 27-31 | 9:00-12:00pm

Advanced Acro

July 23 - 31 | 1:00-4:00pm 

Our acro camps are a super fun way to work on stretching, strengthening and mat tricks. These camps are half day camps that last 3 hours. There will be an informal showing on the last day of camp during the last 15 minutes of class. Dancers should come prepared each day with a water, snack and a biketard or fitted shorts/leggings and fitted top. Hair must be pulled back into a bun. No midriff. No clips or jewelry.

TECHNIQUE WEEK 

Levels 2-7 (ages 8-18) 

*Dancers will be placed into 3 different levels.

August 3- 7 | 9:00-12:00pm 

Technique week is required for any new/returning CSD Company dancers. It is also open and recommended to anyone who is currently enrolled in our ballet/contemporary/jazz program. It is a half day camp from 9:00-12:00pm. Each day will start with ballet and then have either a contemporary, jazz or turning and jumping class. This week is designed to get dancers ready to begin the new season and will have a strong focus on technique. *dress code and more info will be emailed to enrolled dancers.

JUNIOR DANCE CAMPS 

Ages 5-10

Week 1: June 22 - 26 | 9:00-2:00pm 

Week 2: Aug 10-14 | 9:00-2:00pm 

Our Junior Dance camps are designed for dancers ages 5-10. These camps run from 9:00am-2:00pm. Dancers will start each day with ballet and then take other styles throughout the day including jazz, acro, and hip hop. They will also do fun, dance related crafts! Dancers will participate in an informal showing the last 20 minutes on the Friday of camp! This is a great camp for dancers to continue to build their foundation in multiple styles of dance while also having fun and bonding during crafts and lunch break! Dancers will need to pack a snack and a lunch for this camp as we will have a 30 minute lunch break outdoors each day. *dress code and more info will be sent to enrolled dancers.

JR HIP HOP CAMP 

Ages 5-10

June 29 - July 3 | 1:00-4:00pm

Our Hip Hop camp is open to anyone ages 5-10. It is a half day afternoon camp from 1:00-4:00pm. This is a super fun camp to get your dancer moving and to learn hip hop skills and combinations. Dancers must wear athletic clothes they can move in and clean indoor sneakers. No jeans, boots or hats permitted. Dancers should bring water and a snack and be prepared to dance and have a great time! All levels welcome!


SUMMER INTENSIVES 

Levels 2-7 (ages 8-18)

REQUIRED FOR COMPANY DANCERS

Dancers will be divided into 3 groups based on experience/level placement.

Week 1: July 13-17 | 9:00-2:00pm

Week 2: July 20-24 | 9:00-2:00pm 

Our Summer Intensive weeks are required for any new/returning CSD company dancers. These weeks are highly recommended for anyone currently enrolled in our ballet/jazz/contemporary program. We also welcome new dancers who are not enrolled in these classes as it is a great way to step into our program since Summer is slightly more mixed level! The day will start with ballet class and then move into jazz, contemporary, or hip hop classes. We may have some added classes such as improv, partnering or acro! We typically have many guest teachers come up to Carpinteria to teach at our intensives! We will have a 30 minute lunch break each day  (dancers must pack a lunch). These weeks are a wonderful way to continue your training over summer and are especially recommended for dancers who are moving up a level in the Fall. This is a great bonding experience and we love spending the whole day together dancing! *Dress code requirements will be sent to enrolled dancers.

Acro Hop Camp

Ages 5-10

July 6-10 | 9:00-12:00pm

Our Acro Hop camp is open to anyone ages 5-10. This camp will include ACRO and HIP HOP! It is a half day morning camp from 9:00-12:00pm. This is a super fun camp to get your dancer moving and to learn hip hop skills and combinations along with acro mat tricks, stretching and strengthening. Dancers must wear athletic clothes they can move in (including upside down movements) and bring clean indoor sneakers for the hip hop portion. No jeans, boots or hats permitted. Dancers should bring water and a snack and be prepared to dance and have a great time! All levels welcome!

BALLET/VARIATIONS INTENSIVE 

Levels 4-7 (approx age 10+)

July 6-10 | 9:00-12:00pm 

The Ballet/Variations intensive is highly recommended for any students enrolled in ballet level 4 or above and any dancer currently enrolled in a pointe class. Each day will start with a ballet class (and pointe if dancers have already been on pointe). *Pointe is not required to enroll in this camp. Dancers will learn classical variations and continue building their ballet skills while also learning more about the history of ballet and music. Ballet dress code will be required (black leotard, pink tights, and a neat bun)
