School of Performing Arts
CSD (Carpinteria School of Dance) School of Performing Arts is under the direction and ownership of Nicole Powell. CSD School of Performing Arts provides exceptional dance training for dancers ages 3-18. Our innovative programming aims to give dancers the technique, strength, and creativity needed to support a balanced dance training. CSD employs highly acclaimed teachers in the dance industry who have enjoyed long and successful performing and teaching careers. We take an in depth approach to training and focus on each individual dancer's needs and progression with our levels program. We offer a student company and competitive team for our students on a pre-professional or college prep track in an inclusive and supportive environment.
At CSD, every lesson is geared toward
engagement and growth of the dancer.
Our mission is to create a space where dancers can build a strong technical foundation while feeling supported and challenged.
CSD provides excellent training, giving our dancers the ability to launch into a college program or professional career. Our levels program has a focus on ballet and contemporary/modern training.
